THE ROLE:
Based in a mid sized team covering camapign analysis and planning, data modelling, insight and operational reporting, this role will draw upon your campaign analysis skills, campaign reporting and data skills. You will be working with large customer databases and datasets with a range of technologies such as SQL, SAS, Business Objects, Campaign Management Systems such as unica affinium, chordiant, alterian etc and will also have the opportunity to become involved in developing new campaign analysis techniques. The role will be able to provide scope for development and continuous challenges and would be well suited to a candidate keen to learn and progress

THE PERSON:
You will have a solid understanding of databases (SQL Server) and analysis and be able to demonstrate the ability to work with SQL. Ideally, however not essentially, you will have a knowledge of SAS, Business Objects or similar and campaign management tools. You will be proficient with Excel and have experience of campaigns, analysis and ad hoc reporting techniques

The successful candidate will be analytically minded, with solid experience in a data driven role focussed on marketing / insight data. You are likely to have a hands on background in areas such as data manipulation, statistical analysis, predictive modelling, segmentations, web analytics, CRM systems and / or marketing communication strategy. THE ROLE:
Based in a mid sized team covering camapign analysis and planning, data modelling, insight and operational reporting, this role will be strategically orientated and draw upon the successful candidate's knowledge of campaigns, campaign data and most importantly, the strategic management of direct marketing campaigns and strategy planning. You will be responsible for a campaign analyst / marketeer and be confident in a data orientated / insight environment. You will liaise within the business at board level, making recommendations for DM campaigns, customer contact / communication strategies and business planning.

THE CANDIDATE:
This role would be well suited to a candidate with an analytical / maths / statistical background with a sound understanding of data and Direct marketing analysis and processes. Ideally, you will have some skills in technical areas such as; SAS, SPSS, SQL, Campaign Management Systems e.g. chordiant, unica affinium, alterian etc and / or business objects. If you do not have hands on skills in any of these areas, you will be able to appreciate data modelling and insight techniques required for direct marketing strategy. You should be confident in a client facing / consultative capacity and be happy to build internal relationships and present strategy recommendations. You will take a strategic lead in campaign planning, design and testing and will promote the use of DM practices throughout the business. Typical roles you may have previously been in would be; direct marketing manager or consultant, data planner and data strategist or consultant, CRM Management.

Data sets will be large and you will be trained to analyse ROI, run segmentations and utilise statistical models to analyse customer behaviour. Your SAS and SQL work will be used to help shape future direct marketing strategies, specifically related to target audiences, contact strategies and new campaigns based on the influence of insight data.
