An opportunity for a Senior Credit Risk Analyst with strong SAS experience has become available for a market-leading financial services company. If successful, not only will you have the chance to work for one of the most exciting companies in the country, you will also be part of a team that is a vital part of the company's risk department. The role involves Management of end to end strategy deployment and Portfolio monitoring to ensure performance is in line with curve and expectations. You will be developing new strategies to balance risk and rewards and you will be analysing the impact of changes by analysing internal and external factors affecting the group. You will train and mentor junior analysts within the team in SAS and the role involves providing analytical insight by examining the best way to utilise data that can impact business strategy and add real value to the group.
To be eligible for the role, you must have the following skills and experiences:
" An undergraduate degree in a highly analytical and numerate discipline such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, IT or similar
" You must have experience mentoring and training junior Analyst in SAS
" The ability to communicate effectively with all levels with strong written, verbal and presentation skills
" Have experience in Strategy development in a Credit Risk environment
" Proven experience of SAS is absolutely essential (please note that you will not be considered unless you have knowledge of SAS)
" Excellent knowledge of MS Office products
" Highly organised with the ability to handle pressure and adapt quickly adapt to different environments.
" You have to be dynamic, sharp and focused with the working knowledge of shaping requirements into solutions for a range of businesses
The successful candidate can expect a salary of up to £60k plus benefits.
