Analytical IT Business Analyst wanted in Scotland
Background:
My client are a core Quantitative & Technology Analytics team that build highly commercial quantitative solutions in the market and seeking to expand their business with a technology/analytics focused Business analyst to act as a key link between business units for next generation products being launched in 2012.
Profile.
Your role will be to act as a Technical Business Analyst who is comfortable working with both Quantitative and Development focused specialists involved in complex Analytical applications in the market. Your key task will be to understand both existing products being used by the business and potential new products being innovated by the business. The ideal profile for the Group will include the following competencies:
" A track record as a Business Analyst in very technology (development) focused environments.
" Hands-on technical aptitude working with either development platforms (C#, C++) and/or quantitative/risk platforms in financial services or related markets.
" The ability to write functional and technical specs is key for the role.
" A solid mathematical/computer science educational history is ideal.
This role will see the right profile working in a highly autonomous capacity and a pivotal point for the team going forward.
