Position: Senior Java/J2EE Developer

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 + Bonus + Benefits

My client is looking to further its exposure within the derivative pricing sector, through pertinent growth going into 2012. They are a leading investment management derivatives agency that operates within one of the world’s largest software houses. As a leading player in the financial markets globally, this company offers limitless scope into progression both in terms of salary and career advancement, making this an exceptional opportunity in a highly reputable multinational enterprise. They have clients in over 50 countries across the world, and clients stretching throughout the financial sector, providing them with software based technical and consultative solutions.
The ideal candidate will be of no definite background, but instead an enthusiastic individual that is keen to learn derivative pricing within a software house framework. The role consists of working within high performance grid computing environment, on a Java based platform. Neither is this role restricted to those with particular financial markets experience, but instead targeted at a developer that has had some experience of Java/J2EE programming platforms, ideally from a commercial environment.
This is a unique opportunity to join a diverse team of developers, originating from C++ and Java backgrounds, all with the view to further developing and diversifying the derivative pricing mechanism currently in place.
Skills:
Java/J2EE Programming Experience, using up to date technology
C++/C# Understanding due to elements of the project consisting of a migration bid
EJB (Enterprise Java Beans)
GWT (Google Web Kit)
2:1 (Or Equivalent) Degree from a reputable University
