The Company

An international marketing consultancy is looking for a Campaign Analyst to join it's London-based marketing team to work on a high profile project with a market leading client. Working on campaigns designed to target millions of customers, this role combines data analysis, insight, strategy, campaign management and client consultancy to drive business development and customer loyalty.

The Role

" Work closely with Campaign Managers and Senior Analysts to ensure that campaigns are delivered in-line with the clients brief and requirements, and that campaigns are targeting the correct audience efficiently and effectively
" Create data selections and segmentations by using SAS / SQL / SPSS to extract data in order to target customers, across a range of channels including email, door drops, direct mail etc
" Work with a number of teams to fully understand data requirements for the client, ensure these are delivered at high quality, and liaising with both internal and external consultants to ensure these requirements are delivered to the appropriate teams so that campaigns are delivered on time and to the highest standard
" Data processing, manipulation and analysis of large and varied datasets using SAS / SQL / SPSS to generate actionable insights and recommendations that will improve consumer targeting strategies and customer propositions.

The Person

A suitable applicant will have the following experience:

" A degree, or equivalent (2:1 or above) in a numerate subject such as mathematics or statistics
" Experience using SAS / SQL / SPSS to analyse large and varied datasets, extracting data and using analysis techniques in SAS including customer profiling / segmentation within a campaign/ CRM environment
" Excellent communication skills are necessary as this is a client-facing role and findings must be communicated to both internal and external parties, as well as to non-technical audiences
" Experience working in a retail, direct marketing, agency, consultancy, e-commerce, online, telecomms, utilities, FMCG or similar environment will be beneficial
