My client is a worldwide leader in the Banking sector, specialising in loans provision within the retail environment. They were part of the mass marketing campaign for retail credit across the UK, and have since become a leader in the market of prime to sub-prime credit. They are looking to enhance and further the capabilities of their development department looking forward to 2012, by hiring within their web development sector. This role is for an ambitious and aspiring developer that has a passion for web orientated design and programming.
This multi-faceted role consists of both design and development features, with responsibility for build activities, design production and approval, as well as quality assurance. Due to the nature of the role, a wide range of technologies are used, with coding in HTML and XHTML at the centre of this. This opportunity offers scope for someone looking for a Financial Services based role, within a fast paced and dynamic environment, where your skills will be tested daily.
Skills:
HTML and XHTML
One or more of the following:
JQuery
JavaScript (Using recognised frameworks, such as AJAX)
Basic Java/J2EE development – ideally within a JSF framework
XML / XSLT
All candidates will be strongly considered on skill set alone, yet the better educational background a candidate has, increased salary and responsibility potential will result.
Interwoven / Cold Fusion / ClearCase – Will all add to candidate’s suitability, but are not essential.
