Data Manager
Location: Northampton
Salary: 30,000 - £38,000
My Client is a commercial organisation looking for a Data Manager to join their Business and Data Management Team.
The role as Data Manager encompasses a broad range of engagements, dealing with all technical issues and providing data migration and upload solutions. You will provide support within a UNIX based environment, using SAS and SQL to ensure resolutions to incidents and assisting with testing. You will interact with both the business and IT departments and will be able to communicate technical information with managers and stakeholders.
As well as being enthusiastic about working within a team environment you will also display the following skills:
- Extensive experience using SAS, SQL or Teradata within a commercial setting, working within large volume data environments.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to be able to interact with both Business and IT professionals.
- Prior experience working as a Data Manager and being exposed to a wide range of data engagements. For example, data quality, data integration, data migration, data governance, etc.
- A degree from a good university, preferably in a numerate discipline.
