THE COMPANY:
The company is a successful financial services organisation and leading retail bank within the UK who are offering an exciting and rewarding position within the impairment and capital forecasting team.
The company offers training courses that are widely known and respected throughout many of the competing UK banks.
THE ROLE:
The role will be based within a small and vibrant team who produce impairment results and capital forecasts for personal current accounts and across the business. It requires the candidate to be proficient in statistical analysis, specifically SAS, SQL, and Excel and also requires building and preservation of Capital Models. Communication skills are also important in this role as the candidate will be a key contact for all requests made by the FSA; they will be delivering their findings to a number of investors, and also providing guidance to the more junior analysts.
THE PERSON:
The successful candidate must display the following;
Degree or equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics or similar
Advanced statistical and analytical skills (SAS, Excel, SQL)
Product knowledge relating to risk and unsecured products or impairment /capital forecasting
Excellent communication skills
Successful candidates can expect a salary of up to £39,000 plus an impressive benefits package including pension, healthcare, and bonus.
