The company: Growing consultancy working on a number of data driven projects across Financial services.
The Role: You will work on a number of Decision Science and scorecard development projects and continue to improve modelling and scorecard methodologies.
You will also:
o Develop first class credit risk quantitative techniques such as data collection, mining, synthesis and analysis, modelling. You will also support the implementation of these models.
o Develop predictive modelling techniques and optimisation,
o Work with clients to implement the models and train on their use
The candidate:
o Highly numerate with a degree in a mathematical/statistical/engineering discipline, preferably to MSc or PhD level
o Experienced using SAS within a credit risk environment
o Strong analytical ability, experienced in data analysis and data mining and the ability to work accurately to tight timescales. o Familiarity of statistics, optimisation and modelling - CHAID, clustering etc
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Innovative, motivated and displays initiative as well as excellent organisational skills
The successful candidate can expect a salary up to £40,000 + bonus and benefits.
