Major Financial services organization based in the West Midlands are looking to hire a Senior Analyst of MI and strategy to focus in the area of Fraud.
The role is responsible for Compiling and producing analysis to prevent and detect fraud, responding to emerging trends. You will identify, monitor, escalate and respond to emerging fraud trends, focusing on attack profile and customer profile.

This will involve the following:
" Help ensure regular delivery of standardised MI to agreed stakeholders.
" Reduce duplication and effort by ensuring MI is both automated and consistent
" Provide accurate MI to meet Group and regulatory requirements
" Synthesise analysis results to inform business issues
" Perform ad-hoc analysis using complex statistical tools such as SAS, BIW for key stakeholders, making relevant and informed business change recommendations
" production and analysis of appropriate monitoring MI ensuring key trends are actioned as appropriate across the toolkit

To apply for this role you will have the following skills:

Working knowledge of SAS/ SQL and experience of working in a data intensive environment
Ability to plan and organise
Advanced knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel, Access)
Be proactive (self-starter)
Ability to absorb large quantities of data at speed, making the right decisions quickly with limited data availability
Advanced statistical understanding (ideally working knowledge of statistical modelling and neural networks)
