The role: Your main objective will be to become an expert in BASEL II. You will ensure the integrity and operation of the end to end BASEL II process. This ranges from credit risk scoring to estimating Risk Weighted Assets, Regulatory Capital estimates, etc. As a BASEL II expert you will be responsible for the management of incident recovery, systems and process changes and work required to comply with relevant policies and commitments. You will have some project management experience, but you do not get hung up on formal project reports. You will need to be a flexible, quick thinker with great technical knowledge who can respond to managerial requirements on an ad-hoc basis.

Essential skills/ qualities:

BASEL II knowledge and understanding

Detailed knowledge of credit risk decisioning techniques, tools and processes

Excellent communication skills, ability to package ideas well

Experience of hands-on project management (e.g. Prince 2)
