An exciting opportunity to work for a leading financial services firm in a modelling based role.
Role:
The purpose of the role is to work with the client's risk team to execute decision science and scorecard development projects. This will require the development of customer and portfolio level predictive models, their associated documentation and support implementation as well as acting as a project manager to scope, plan and carry out decision science solutions. You will also be required to work with stakeholders across the business to understand issues and objectives with the responsibility of discussing potential solutions.
Monitoring and Strategic Analytics will also be an integral part of the role with the purpose of ensuring the business becomes and remains an industry leader in its field. The successful candidate will be expected to provide decision science with a robust framework within which it can work. You will be responsible for maintaining the robustness and value of new and existing models.
The Person:
Required …
-Practice of SAS or a similar statistical package.
-Excellent proven data mining, optimisation and modelling background (e.g. regression, CHAID).
-Excellent scorecard implementation experience.
-Project management experience
-Practice of data storage and data manipulation tools.
-1st class BSc or higher degree in a relevant subject - i.e. Statistics or Economics.
-Innovative with strong negotiation and influencing skills.
-Experience in the Financial Services or retail banking.
