SENIOR ANALYST - MODEL VALIDATION - LONDON - £35k

This role sits within the Capital Management team of this leading Banking organisation. The team is responsible for ensuring that capital is allocated effectively; capital requirements are understood (including in stressed economic conditions) and the Retail Division meets its regulatory and legal obligations for external reporting.
As Senior Analyst, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
Validate and review credit models - including internal ratings systems to the agreed standards.
Manage the collection and manipulation of data for validating purposes.
Advise on the enhancement of the development and monitoring methodologies
Provide consultancy in the use and of, and advise on the compliance of credit models with Basel requirements and Group Policy across all business units in the Retail Division.
Liaise with business units in the Division and Group Credit and ensure a consistent approach to Basel across the division.
Produce documented project work standards and ensure that all projects are run efficiently and effectively and meet the required standards.
To apply for this role you will have a degree in a numerate discipline (or similar) as well as experience within retail banking building including building, validating and monitoring of ratil risk scorecards, preferably in SAS.
SAS experience is not essential, however is beneficial.
The successful candidate can expect a salary of up to £35k plus excellent benefits.
