The role:
Your role will focus on the provision of technical support of the impairment model process from data sourcing, preparation, cleansing through to model runs and monitoring support. You need to be able to drive the delivery of data to support impairment by getting it in the format and platform for use by the Impairment modelling teams within credit risk. You need to be able to analyse the data for data quality as well as for business understanding / interpretation and be able to demonstrate that understanding through knowledge sharing with the impairment teams.
The person:
Degree educated, you will be an expert user of SAS and have a background in supporting data and modelling teams within a retail banking ebnvironment. Networking and project management skills are a must due to the stakeholder engagement aspects of the role.
Travel may be required in the role, so you must be flexible to travel as part of a role.
