A Global leading financial service organisation is currently looking for a Capital Reporting Manager to join their prestigious team. The team's purpose is to ensure that regulatory and economic capital is managed effectively across their Retail and Wealth divisions. The company is one of the largest Retail Banks in the UK and the vacancy has occurred due to the continuous growth of the business. The role plays a key role in recognising and implementing opportunities to optimize regulatory and capital requirements and has the responsibility for the analysis of emerging risk related regulation and insuring that appropriate strategic and compliance responses are implemented. The position comes with a chance to support the wider team in setting direction and benchmark for capital management across divisions and support the development and creation of effective MI to understand capital utilisations and returns. The role also involves reviewing and challenging the capital management strategies, allocations and impairment assumptions in business planning, forecasting, stress testing and more.
A suitably applicant must have the following:
- A strong academic background in a highly quantitative, financial management or banking discipline.
- A good understanding of Basel II requirements and its core conceptual framework.
- Strong experience in Capital Reporting or Impairment Forecasting
- Strong Retail Credit Risk knowledge and Experience.
- Must have experience managing people.
- Experience in SAS is highly desirable but not essential.
The successful candidate can expect a salary of up to £54k + car + benefits.
