Opportunity to join a newly formed team and new role within the impairment analysis function at a leading UK retail bank.
Your role will focus on the following areas:
- Analytical support for any changes and developments to the loss impairment models
- Validation and review of key provisioning and impairment reporting
- Forecasting, monitoring and delivering financial results, and establishing effective management controls
- Work with all stakeholders and colleagues from the portfolio credit risk teams
- Focus team effort on tasks that add value and look for ways to improve processes and procedures within own team and for other areas within Credit Risk.
- Champion the importance of "best practice" quality data analysis and project management standards
To apply for the role you will be experienced within credit risk, specifically Impairment. You will have good knowledge of models within provisioning and impairment, as well as making business recommendations from your analysis. You will need to have strong Excel and SAS skills.
The successful candidate can expect a salary up to £38k + benefits.
