Major banking organisation based in Canary Wharf is seeking a successful and driven Credit risk manager to join its business facing analytical credit risk team.
The job
You will work across a Current accounts and loans portfolio and drive P&L / Business strategy by leading a team of analysts. This role will have a direct impact on the profitability of the portfolio, and you will see your ideas rolled out across this huge organisation.
You will be tasked to generate value for the business from the design and implementation of analytical solutions to business problems. This will involve you thinking of new approaches to risk management and working with stakeholders across the business to drive performance.
Your team will be between 3 and 5 people, and you will be responsible for training and management of this team to drive the best from them. This will include building on their analysis and modelling techniques.
The person:
To apply for this role you will be degree educated and have strong analytical skills from a role in credit risk. This will include people management and a proven experience of leadership. You will need a strong understanding of consumer lending products and full lifecycle risk management disciplines.
The successful candidate can expect a salary of £60,000 - £65,000 + Benefits including Car allowance, Pension, Shares, Bonus & Healthcare
