Consultant - Data strategy / Analysis - SAS - Banking - London - £65k
This role offers the successful candidate the chance to perform the role of an internal consultant within this major financial services client. Your focus will be on SAS, data and its uses, and you will sell ideas and concepts in to senior stakeholders within the business to drive business strategies.
You will be proactive in your approach, analysing data to solve problems and proactively developing strategies. You will then develop business cases to win budget for initiatives, and consult in to the business to effect change.
Once these changes have been agreed you will see the projects through to ensure changes are embedded into the strategies and plans of other functions, as well as seeing through the delivery of effective management of risk, governance, compliance and control issues.
Data quality will form a large part of your role, and you will be responsible for setting quality standards for data (including standards set by regulators), as well as agreeing/prioritising requirements for enhancements to data validation reports. You will then consult to the business to ensure that data quality is accurately measured.
To apply for this role you must be a SAS expert, and be experienced in the analysis of data. You will also need to be confident to sell concepts to the organisation and provide commercial rationale behind your decision. Whilst you will be managing people, you will be predominantly technical, and will need to have maintained your SAS skills through your career.
The successful candidate can expect a salary to £65k plus excellent benefits.
