This role offers the opportunity to join one of the biggest financial services companies in the UK in a lead position within forecasting and analysis.
You will be responsible for forecasting key risk metrics such as delinquencies and reserves within the business, and these will be used to calculate the net income target for the organisation. The role will be responsible for strategic input, ensuring timely and robust forecasts, and improving upon the current planning to ensure greater accuracy in forecasts, as well as working with senior stakeholders in the organisation to roll out initiatives.
You will also work on the following:
Update and develop forecast models, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of delinquency and loss forecasts.
Gain understanding of portfolio performance and the macro-economic environment
Lead strategic changes in forecast models.
Be in a position to clearly articulate and quantify drivers of loss and delinquency forecasts through historic product performance and macro-economic assumptions.
Update models in Excel, Business Objects and SAS
To apply for this role, you will have:
Degree in mathematics, finance, economics or equivalent, with relevant risk/financial forecast modelling experience in SAS. You will also need to have strong MS Office experience especially with advanced Excel and PowerPoint, and strong stakeholder management skills to implement ideas,
