This financial services organization is seeking a Planning and forecasting analyst to join their finance/risk team.
The role is responsible for forecasting key risk metrics such as delinquencies and losses for planning phases, and has a direct impact on the calculation of the client's net income target. You will ensure timely and robust forecasts, and improve upon the current planning to ensure greater accuracy in forecasts. These forecasts will be presented to the Senior Management Team.
You will work closely with stakeholders across the business, and ensure that planning forecasts are consistent with actual models, you will also take ownership of the forecasting models to ensure accuracy.
To apply for the role you will have:
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics or equivalent.
Solid SAS base experience, around data mining, manipulation, writing / debugging Macros and report automation.
Strong MS Office experience especially with advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
Risk/financial modelling experience
