Working on a large Credit card portfolio in this Financial services organization you will be responsible for understanding the key drivers of the business for both costs and income. You will be responsible for working on the preparation of monthly management accounts delivering a view to senior management of business performance. This will involve:
Contribute to maintaining effective financial control through questioning and challenging income statement and balance sheet results.
Assist the development of the monthly Credit Cards financial reporting process to deliver clear, timely and insightful MI and financial reporting to support decision making, strategy development and ongoing performance measurement within the business.
Development of key driver reporting and product/vintage P&L reporting to enhance understanding of profitability.
To apply for this role you will have:
Financial accounting knowledge [Part Qualified]
Experience of preparing management accounts.
Have strong spreadsheet and financial systems skills (Preferably Excel VBA, Access, and SAP Business Warehouse).
Have a good commercial focus - attuned to evolving business needs and able to support the rapid development of finance capabilities to deliver performance enhancing support to the Credit Cards business.
Have strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate changing customer trends.
The successful candidate can expect to earn up to £45,000 + Excellent benefits.
