Direct Marketing Campaign Analyst Role Overview:

The Direct Marketing Campaign Analyst role will be ideal for a SAS or SQL -based marketing insight analyst to progress their career with a major UK-based financial services organisation. The client is offering a progressive role, which will involve analysts with experience using SAS and SQL for analytics to join a marketing team to provide selections for marketing campaigns. Candidates will be involved in maximising the performance of direct mail campaigns through post campaign analysis, using SAS/ SQL and then to forecast predictions for the performance of future marketing campaigns moving forwards. This is a broad and exciting role, which will really allow candidates to take real responsibility for large scale analytical projects within the direct marketing environment. The purpose of this role is to help the client to gain a thorough understanding of how to retain existing customers and how to attract new customers to improve business efficiency. You will be helping to add commercial value to the business by helping to optimise direct marketing campaigns through the use of customer based analytics.

Direct Marketing Analyst must have the following:

In order to apply for this role candidates should have experience of statistical tools such as SAS and SQL. It is not essential for candidates to have experience with SAS; however it is more important to have experience using SQL for data selections.
Candidates must have successfully completed a degree course.
Experience of using SQL for pulling, extracting and managing data from data warehouses.
Experience working within a commercially driven marketing environment, involvement in delivery campaigns, providing campaign selections and data management.
