Marketing Analyst Overview:
A leading online gaming company is looking to expand its growing marketing analytics team based in Central London. With millions of daily users, the product is popular and high in demand, and therefore, the company is looking for a marketing analyst to join the team at this exciting time to analyse performance, customer behaviour and loyalty.
Due to the impressive number of daily users, you will have the opportunity to work with a large amount of customer data in an SQL-based environment. The role requires an experienced analyst to use SQL to analyse customer-related data, using techniques such as modelling (churn, forecasting), customer segmentation and profiling, in order to gain insight into customer behaviour, trends and loyalty.You will be involved in the full analytical life-cycle, from data management and in-depth statistical analysis, to targeting strategies and reporting findings back to the business in order to improve company performance and customer loyalty. Any experience using SAS or SPSS for data analysis will be beneficial, however, experience using SQL is essential for the role.
As you will be working with online data, any experience working with in an online environment or with an online company will be advantageous, however this is not a requirement for the role as the main statistical analysis, including customer profiling and segmentation, will be carried out in SQL. A suitable candidate will have experience using SQL / SAS / SPSS for marketing analysis, using either online or offline data.
The Person
A suitable applicant will have the following experience:
" Experience using SQL / SAS / SPSS / Excel / VBA to analyse large and varied datasets, extracting data and using analysis techniques in SQL including customer profiling / segmentation within a customer insight / marketing / online environment. Experience using SQL for data analysis is essential for this role
" Any experience or interest in online data is beneficial, as is any experience working in sectors such as online gaming / social media / gambling / telecommunications / e-commerce. Candidates from other industries will also be considered
" A degree, or equivalent (2:1 or above) in a numerate subject such as mathematics or statistics
