Econometrician Role Details:
The Econometrician / Statistical Analyst role is an ideal opportunity for a data analyst or an econometrician looking for an exciting role, which will combine client interaction and building insightful solutions to improve business performance for clients through analysis. The Econometrician Data Analyst role will require a candidate to carry out data analysis, using SAS, surrounding product performance, competitor performance, pricing elasticity and marketing campaigns in order to be able to provide consultative strategies to clients to help them improve their business performance. This opportunity with involve a candidate working in a small team, you will liaise with clients to find out their data requirements and you will then be required to present back to the business with strategic plans to help develop business performance. This role will offer huge amounts of scope and variety through the work available as you will be working on a project by project basis with different blue chip clients. This role combines an interesting combination of modelling, data analysis and insight reporting to clients and stakeholders. It is important for candidates to have an understanding of using SAS for analysis, experience of using other statistical tools such as SPSS or SQL would be advantageous for this role.

In order to apply for this role you will need:
Candidates looking to apply for this role need to have experience of working with an econometrics analysis and economic modelling.
Experience of using SAS and SPSS would be extremely advantageous for this role.
Any experience of using Eveiws, VBA or Excel would be useful
Candidates ideally need to have a degree or equivalent qualification in a numerate subject, such as Mathematics, Statistics, Operational Research, Economics.
